Baseball has officially started... for me..

Baseball practice started yesterday for me. I'm a catcher, with horrible knees. Just makes you respect MLB Catchers all the more...

This just in...

George Washington Pre-school was too far away. Lincoln Pre-school was too small. Hancock Memorial Pre-school was a close second.

James Smith, the highly-anticipated 4 year old, just announced that he would be playing basketball for the intramural, pre-schooler league team of JFK Memorial Pre-school.

The 3-foot-5, quick-footed star - carried by his mother, made the announcement by unzipping his jacket, and revealing a JFK basketball jersey.

"Keep an eye on this one," University of Minnesota basketball coach Tubby Smith said in a news conference. "We are having a meeting with his parents, setting up his scholorship for when he gets old enough."

Terrell Pryor... we've read articles, heard sports broadcasters talking about him, heard coaches talk about him. I feel sorry for him, he is just 18. But I dont know if he'll be that good.... I guess we'll see - in 3 years.
